How to play the game:
Zoo Tycoon 2 Mods features a number of gameplay modes, each having different limitations, with the exception of Freeform. A freeform game in Zoo Tycoon 2 Mods lets the players that what sort of zoo the want to construct, with only space restrictions, animals and objects. The supply of money is unlimited to the players and some items are unlocked and some are unlocked in scenario and game challenges. Freeform begins with an empty zoo in which players have to add animals, restaurants, and facilities for visitors and bathrooms as well. Employees are required to work in the zoo so that it can be maintained. The players have to buy land plots so that the animals can be kept and provided with shelter.
Players must accommodate the number of animals within the enormous area of the zoo, provide them with food and water on time when required, keeping the animals happy at all times by making such an environment enjoyed by the animals or keeping the animals in such a way that they survive on their own abilities (For instance the Bengal Tiger is naturally found in tropical rainforest). The players must provide the visitors with a place for the visitors which is provided by constructing restaurants, food and drink stand, bathroom, benches and playgrounds for kids as well as terrains that can be high or low (includes hills valleys and cliffs).
Campaign:
There is a Campaign mode in addition to Freeform mode, in which players are limited by items and they have to play the role of zoo owner who is working with limited items and is assigned different tasks to complete, the tasks may include breeding, training of different animals and rescuing animals being abused. As the player completes challenges he earns balance so that he can construct and expand the zoo.
GAMEPLAY:
Use your mouse to select different items provided in the toolbox below. Left-click to select and hold and drag the mouse to build roads and walls to enclose the zoo. You can also zoom in and out by scrolling the mid-mouse up or down. It simply selects the items you want to be built by selecting them from the toolbox given below. You can also customize the spot you want to. Select the animals you want to place and simply click and place the animals you desire.
